Mathematical and logical flow operations

From Endrov

It is possible to do mathematical and logical operations on images and on numbers. There are three modes, automatically selected depending on what input you feed the flow objects:

  • An image can be combined with an image. Then the operation is done on all pairs of pixels
  • An image can be compared with a scalar. Every pixel is then compared to the scalar
  • Scalars can be compared against scalars, producing another scalar.

Endrov applies C-style logic: A value is TRUE if it is not zero, otherwise FALSE. Whenever a TRUE value is produced, it is the value 1.

Some examples:

  • Not 1 = 0
  • Not 6 = 0
  • Not 0 = 1
  • 3 AND 2 = 1
  • 1 AND 0 = 0
